we’re beth & alexander, siblings born 3 years + 1 day apart who both grew up with an innate sense of connecting to people. through trial and error, we both somehow landed on being exceptional behind a camera.

while it’s taken us a few years of bopping about to land on weddings, we’re glad to be here. because the wedding industry is overpriced, overdone & frankly - a bit boring.

hiring fern & film means two things: you’ll get something beautiful and affordable for a change, and you’ll make new friends in the process.

  • we’re a brother/sister duo based in san francisco & seattle. growing up in england with a photographer father means we understand community & we understand how to spot beauty.

    we love people & we love love. for the sake of bringing the absurd industry costs down, and delivering something a bit different - we’re here & ready to meet you.

    our style is interview & story-driven, meaning you won’t just get slow-motion shots over a violin, you’ll get something that feels like you.

    whether you need us for video, photo, singing or impromptu cartwheels (this is a surcharge) - we’ll be here.

  • packages begin at $1,500 & max out at $3,500 for a single shooter. additional videographer and extras like raw footage & additional teaser trailers are subject to a little upcharge.

  • while we’re based in san francisco & seattle, we’ll come anywhere in either states + michigan, oregon and london for no additional travel fees.

    depending on your budget - you can expect the following:

    • 60 second next-day trailer

    • 5-8 minute finished film

    • Full ceremony coverage

    • Full speeches coverage

    • Behind the scenes camcorder / drone footage

    • Ceremony / speech / vows edits + coverage

    • A relatively friendly hug upon arrival
