simple campers approached me as a member at wework, looking for marketing help as they grew their nascent strategy from the ground up. being a local business comprised of just two blokes and a passion for connecting people to the outdoors - i was happy to oblige.

during my 2 years, i collaborated on all of the content developed for the brand. including assisting a total rebrand (site, social and more) as we pivoted toward a more modern and high-touch business model.

day-to-day tasks included coordinating the smooth operation of 15 fleet vehicles and their respective maintenance, cleaning and onboarding of renters. i maintained the sole POC during renters adventures, and was the ‘face’ of the company alongside my business partners, jason and kevin.

as the business grew, so did the demand for someone to truly commit full-time to the team. while that wasn’t me, and we parted ways late in 2022 - i will forever be grateful for the opportunity to create genuine memories for people in our vans.

notable things:

  • grew business revenue 2.5x from ‘21-’22

  • grew fleet size from 4 to 16 vans (all independently consinged)

  • assisted in creating SOP’s for renter on/offboarding

  • assisted building off-grid rental return space for seamless professional interactions
